San Luis Obispo Dog Team

Kim (AKA Auntie Kim) is our dog behavior therapist and owner of San Luis Obispo Dog. She has been caring for dogs since she could walk, and was recognized for her special abilities with dogs early in life, when at two years old she taught her Saint Bernard to give her rides around the neighborhood. Kim later received service dog training and care credentials with Canine Companions for Independence, working for years with dogs trained for companions with severe physical disabilities. She is also a trusted member of the San Luis Obispo community, having served SLO families for over a decade via her care as a social worker, a home health nurse, volunteer and coach at local elementary schools, and serving on the elected advisory council at the middle school. 

Having served as a tech consultant in her early career, Kim now enjoys the sunshine while working with dogs full time in SLO, and the satisfaction that comes from aiding in the development of happy well adjusted dog citizens.
